From assessing national excellence in tourism to shaping cultural heritage strategies for the Council of Europe, he brings a critical yet constructive perspective rooted in both academic research and hands-on industry knowledge.

Appointed as External Assessor commissioned by The General Secretariat of the Executive Council of Dubai to assess Department of Economy and Tourism, focusing on country tourism promotion (business, leisure, sports and others), hotel and tourist facilities classification, licensing and operation, commerce promotion events operations, tourism policy and regulations.

Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme (SKGEP) 2021. Appointed as External Assessor commissioned by United Arab Emirates (UAE) Prime Minister’s Office to assess four educational institutions (Zayed University, Higher Colleges of Technology, UAEU and Ministry of Education) focusing on quality of education, innovation, educational technologies, etc.

2019
President and Danube Region Coordinator of Routes4Youth (2019-2022), Council of Europe (Directorate General of Democracy)/ European Union (European Commission – DG REGIO). Routes4U is a 30-month project launched in the framework of the joint programme between the Council of Europe (Directorate General of Democracy) and the European Union (European Commission – DG REGIO). The project aims at developing very concrete tools to foster regional development through cultural heritage policies. It seeks to enhance regional development through the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe in the Adriatic-Ionian, the Alpine, the Baltic Sea and the Danube Region. Duties and responsibilities include: providing leadership and support for all regional coordinators and members to define the network’s goals and a schedule of the activities, coordinating the network’s body and responsible for the efficient operation of the entire group, monitoring the evolution and trend of the network and the global coordination of its members, enhancing the cooperation and the communication of the team, coordinating, managing and developing the activities within the Danube Region ensuring the on time completion of tasks and procedures, fostering the development of a macro-regional network through the launch of proposals to Routes4U Team and to Routes4Youth members, in order to encourage tangible actions and to come to common decisions and solutions on the way forward to reach the Routes4U objectives.
