I strongly believe that education today is more global than ever, and we live in an interconnected world where opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange are virtually limitless. Driven by my passion for helping students and academic staff grow, thrive, and succeed, I have actively contributed to a number of international institutions through pedagogical research, part-time teaching, curriculum design, and supervision of student projects and dissertations.
One of my earliest international academic appointments was with École Hôtelière Internationale dédiée au luxe (Luxury Hotel School), a prestigious private hotel school located in the heart of Paris, France. Between 2017 and 2022, I taught a variety of modules as part of their BA (Hons) International Tourism and Hospitality Management programme, which was validated by London South Bank University. In addition to delivering core and specialist subjects, I supervised undergraduate research projects and mentored final-year students during the completion of their dissertations.
In 2020, I was invited to join Amity University in Noida, India, as Guest Faculty in Tourism Management. As part of a short-term academic collaboration during the COVID-19 pandemic, I developed and delivered a fully online course in Tourism Geography. The course was designed to offer both theoretical foundations and applied perspectives on spatial tourism development, with a focus on digital delivery and student engagement in a remote learning environment. This appointment strengthened my interest in digital pedagogy and cross-border academic collaboration in emerging markets.

Since August 2018, I have served as Adjunct Professor at Meikai University in Tokyo, Japan, where I teach undergraduate modules in the BA Hospitality and Tourism Major—the university’s only programme delivered entirely in English. My involvement contributes to the university’s internationalisation efforts and supports the development of globally competent tourism professionals.
In Germany, I currently hold two long-standing visiting professorships: one at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (since October 2018) and another at the Munich University of Applied Sciences (since August 2020). At both institutions, I contribute to the delivery of undergraduate modules and supervise research projects and theses. My commitment to educational innovation was recognised in 2021, when I was awarded the title of Visiting Teaching Fellow at Munich University of Applied Sciences (March–August 2021). During this time, I developed a pioneering pedagogical project focused on experiential learning and co-creation in hospitality education. A presentation of this project received the Best Paper Award at the Bringing Hospitality, Tourism, Transport and Events Back for Good Conference held at the University of Surrey in 2023.
Since January 2022, I have also been contributing to the MA International Tourism and Hospitality Management programme at GBSB Global Business School in Barcelona, Spain. GBSB Global is a dynamic, internationally accredited institution that focuses on innovation, entrepreneurship, and practical business education. As part of the tourism and hospitality faculty, I deliver postgraduate modules that explore contemporary issues in global tourism, sustainable destination development, and digital transformation. My teaching here is closely aligned with the school’s ethos of preparing students for real-world leadership roles in a rapidly evolving global industry.
My most recent appointments include an Adjunct Professorship at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Morocco (since February 2023), where I am working with colleagues to develop and deliver a module on Tourism and Leisure Management, and a visiting role at the École Supérieure de Tourisme in Troyes, France, where I am currently involved in designing and teaching a module on Tourism Planning and Management. These new roles further reflect my ongoing commitment to international education, curriculum innovation, and academic excellence.
