I am open to supervising new PhD and DBA students whose research aligns with my multidisciplinary expertise in tourism, hospitality, and human geography. My interests include tourism management, particularly citizens’ power in tourism decision-making, political support, and sustainable development; hospitality operations and leadership; and digital transformation in tourism and hospitality, including innovations such as AI, robotics, and immersive technologies. I also welcome proposals in special interest tourism, particularly cultural and heritage tourism, food tourism and gastronomy, as well as topics in historical and cultural geography, including geographies of memory, identity, and communism. My background is in qualitative research, including ethnography and case study analysis.
