Joining the Centre for Sustainable Business Practices at the University of Northampton(UK)

I am delighted to share that I have officially joined the Centre for Sustainable Business Practices (CSBP) at the University of Northampton. This marks an exciting new chapter in my academic journey—one that aligns closely with my long-standing interest in responsible tourism, sustainability, and ethical business development.

Founded in 2016, The CSBP is an interdisciplinary research centre that focuses on advancing sustainable practices in business, leadership, and management through applied research and engagement with both industry and society. The Centre’s mission resonates strongly with my academic work and personal values, particularly its emphasis on generating real-world impact and fostering collaboration across sectors and disciplines.

My involvement with CSBP will primarily support ongoing research into sustainable tourism development, service innovation, and responsible consumer behaviour. I am particularly interested in exploring how destinations and hospitality providers can balance economic growth with environmental protection and cultural integrity—an area that has become increasingly urgent in light of global climate change and evolving visitor expectations. Through the Centre, I look forward to working with an inspiring group of researchers and industry partners to develop and contribute to projects that tackle sustainability challenges in meaningful and creative ways. I am also keen to support doctoral researchers and postgraduate students who wish to pursue sustainability-oriented topics in tourism, hospitality, and the wider service sector.

Joining CSBP also represents a valuable opportunity to strengthen the link between academia and industry—ensuring that our research not only contributes to scholarly debates but also provides practical tools and insights for businesses navigating the shift towards more sustainable models.

I am excited about the path ahead and confident that this new affiliation will enrich both myteaching and research. I hope it will also open new doors for collaboration with fellow academics, students, and professionals who are equally passionate about sustainability, innovation, and responsible leadership.
